09 — The rules Lumi never breaks

A friendly face on serious data.

  • Provenance on every number. Source system, data-as-of, answer time and data label, always.
  • Permissions live in the systems. Lumi only sees what the asker’s grants allow.
  • Aggregates, never rows. Small cells are suppressed with the strictest threshold in the mix.
  • Honest when it can’t. “Unavailable” and “out of date” are answers, never a silent zero.
  • Corrections go home. A wrong answer is routed to the office that owns the data.
  • Humans decide. Lumi prepares; authorised staff approve anything consequential.
